TELL THE EPA: Less Carbon, Please
On March 27, Lisa Jackson, head of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) signed a proposed notice to dramatically limit the amount of carbon pollution electric utilities’ new power plants are allowed to produce.
The public has 60 days to submit comment on this proposal before the EPA considers formal adoption of the new rule.
Green America strongly supports the new limits. Effectively, they will end the construction of high-polluting coal-fired power plants in the US and spur greater innovation in the clean-energy sector.
The dirty energy lobby has already come out in opposition, so it’s vitally important that you send a message to the EPA today. Please help us show the EPA that the majority of Americans support its efforts to limit climate change and produce clean energy.
